Welcome to the U7 2025-2026 Season:

Parents are not permitted to be on the bench during ice times unless you've registered as bench staff and completed all the courses to be either an HCSP or a coach. If your child needs you, they will be brought to you. If you would like to help out on the bench, please let you manager & coordinator know.

Volunteers - please ensure you have all your courses completed and your criminal record check is approved before getting on the ice. You can check on your Spordle account to see what you are missing. We will have a mandatory meeting scheduled soon for coaches and HCSPs. I will send an email once we have a location and time secured.

Dressing rooms - Dressing rooms are posted on the screens in the lobby of the Pomeroy, we'll be assigned two dressing rooms per ice time so each team can take one and get ready together as a team. No phones or pictures in the dressing rooms. We follow the "Two Deep Method" which means if you are in the dressing room with a child who is not yours, there must be another parent in the dressing room as well or you need to leave and ask your child to meet you in the common area to continue helping them get ready.

Tournaments - each team is allowed to participate in 2 tournaments. Tournaments are not a part of your hockey fee. Once the team decides on a tournament to take part in, the manager (or if you have a sponsor) will find out who can attend the tournament and collect your portion to pay the tournament fees.

TeamLinkt - Over the next couple weeks, your team's manager will be creating and inviting you to the TeamLinkt app which is where your schedule will be uploaded going forward as well as any team communications. Please reach out to your team manager with any questions or concerns.

Drop-In Skills Day - Open to all registered U7 players on Tuesdays from 3:45-4:45pm on the East arena, starting Tuesday, October 28, 2025. These are optional practices that focus specifically on skills. These practices are open to all U7 players, however, they are for the players that are wanting to improve and work hard; adherence to rules and expectations is mandatory and no poor behaviour will be tolerated.

Team Photo Day - Team Photo day for individual and team photos will be scheduled in November. Information to come.

Please label your player's helmet and water bottle with their name. Your child will receive a jersey and socks on their first ice time however please ensure they come with the rest of the required hockey gear:
